If you find yourself in Malviya Nagar, we are at E-3/7, right across the street from Batra Medicos. It’s a landmark that everyone knows, so we just tell people to look for the chemist. Our office at Skysurge Productions is on a street that always has people walking by. Inside, it’s a mix of edit suites and storage for cameras and lights. We’ve got black curtains over some of the windows to keep the light out when we are working on videos. It gets a bit hot in the summer because of all the electronics running at the same time. The carpet has some stains from spilled tea over the years, and there are posters from old projects tacked to the walls. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, you just hear someone shouting from the back to come in. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of monitors, sometimes late into the night. It’s not a glamorous production house like you see in movies. It’s more of a workshop where we piece things together. There is a small balcony where we go to get some air and watch the traffic on the main road. The neighborhood is full of small eateries, so we never go hungry. It’s a lived-in space that feels like a second home to most of us because we spend so much time here. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on schedule.
