Mahendra Singhrawat

Mahendra Singhrawat works out of Rz-164, Q Ext., in Uttam Vihar, which is part of the larger Uttam Nagar area in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to Uttam Nagar, you know it’s crowded and the lanes can be a bit of a maze. Our place is tucked away in one of those extensions. It’s a humble setup, really. Just a couple of rooms where we keep our stuff and handle the daily tasks that come our way. It’s not the kind of place where you’d expect a big company to be. It’s more of a local business where everyone knows the person next door. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are narrow, but it gets the job done. I spend a lot of time here, often late into the evening. There isn't any fancy lighting or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. Sometimes we just open the windows and deal with the street noise. It’s a very practical environment. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to for some reason. We’re more likely to be in plain clothes, just trying to stay cool in the Delhi heat. The work keeps us busy enough that we don't have time to worry about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s functional, and for us, that’s plenty. We don't have a big sign outside, just the house number and our name on the door.
