Laid Back Waters

Laid Back Waters is over at the J&K SRTC Complex on Rajpura Road. We are right across from the Tis Hazari Courts, which is always a very busy and loud area of New Delhi. Our office is inside the complex at number 1. It’s a bit of an older building. We deal with travel and water-based trips, mostly focused on the Jammu and Kashmir region. People come in to talk about houseboats and tours. We have a few posters on the walls, but they are getting a bit faded now. The desk is usually covered in booking forms and brochures. It’s a small team of us here. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the guys back in Kashmir making sure the boats are ready and the schedules are right. The traffic outside the courts is always a mess, so we hear honking all day long. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit and work out the details for people’s holidays. Sometimes the tea lady comes by, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We aren't a big corporate travel agency. We just know the area well and help people get there. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our toes. If you find the SRTC building, you’ll find us tucked inside. We stay busy with the paperwork and trying to make sure everything goes smoothly for the travelers.
