City Shoppy India is based out of House No. 7 in Gali No. 1. We are in the Narela area, very close to Kasturi Ram College. It’s a residential-feeling street, so it’s not like a big commercial hub. We use a portion of the house as our office and storage. It’s a bit tight, especially when we have new shipments coming in. Gali No. 1 is a narrow street, so we have to be careful with where we park our bikes. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. The college nearby brings a lot of students into the area, so there’s always people walking around. Inside, the rooms are filled with boxes and some desks tucked into the corners. It’s a real family-run vibe. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you knock on the door, one of us will just come out and talk to you. We handle all sorts of orders and deliveries from here. It gets a bit hectic sometimes, trying to keep track of everything in a small space. We often sit out in the small courtyard when the weather is nice to have our lunch. It’s a quiet life for the most part, away from the main city noise. We don’t have big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure our customers are happy with what they buy. The walls are painted a simple yellow.
