R. S. Exim India

Our place, R. S. Exim India, is right in the Central Market at Lawrence Road. Being in Keshav Puram means there’s always something going on outside. We are at C-7/8. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the market picks up. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our computers and some shelves for all the records we have to keep. It’s not a very big space, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the market gets so loud we have to close the windows to hear each other talk. We’ve been here for a good number of years. Everyone around here knows us by now. It’s convenient being near the shops if we need to grab something quickly. We handle a lot of different things coming in and out. The stairs are a bit narrow, so moving big boxes can be a chore. We usually take turns going out for lunch or just eating at the desks if it’s a busy day. There isn’t a fancy lobby or anything. You just walk in and we’re right there working. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't see the need for a lot of bells and whistles. As long as the work gets done and the orders are right, we’re happy. Lawrence Road is a good location for us because it’s well connected. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the day-to-day tasks that come our way.
