At Metro Exim Pvt. Ltd., we operate out of B 136 in Kalkaji. It’s a well-known neighborhood, and our office is in a pretty standard building on that block. We’ve got a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. Our work mostly involves managing the flow of goods and making sure the numbers match up. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. We spend hours on the computer looking at shipping manifests and talking to transporters. Kalkaji can get very congested, so getting here in the morning can be a struggle depending on the traffic. Once we’re inside, it’s just the hum of the AC and the sound of typing. We have a small pantry where we keep our snacks. It’s a simple setup. We don't go in for anything fancy or high-tech. If the printer works and the internet stays on, we’re happy. We’ve got a lot of files from years ago that we probably should throw out, but they just sit there in the corner. Our team is small, and we all do a bit of everything. There’s no strict division of labor here. If someone is busy, someone else picks up the phone. It’s just how we get through the day. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors are all used to us by now.
