A. K. Overseas

A. K. Overseas is situated at 161/5 Jogabai in Jamia Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone seems to know each other, and we like being part of that. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for the essential equipment and a couple of chairs for guests. We deal with overseas trade, as the name suggests. Most of our day is spent on the phone, talking to transporters or checking on the status of various shipments. The area around Jamia Nagar is always active, with lots of small businesses and people going about their business. It can get a bit loud during the day, but that’s just the atmosphere of the place. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure that things get done correctly. Sometimes we have to stay late to deal with time zones in other countries, but we don't mind. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our jobs well and get the orders right for the people we send goods to. The office is a bit lived-in, with stacks of paper and the occasional half-eaten snack on a desk. It’s a real place where real work happens. We don’t use polished language or try to impress anyone with big claims. We just keep moving forward day by day.
