Irus

Irus is located over at B-36 in the DDA Sheds of Phase-II. It’s a modest space, but it’s where we do all our daily operations and keep things moving. These sheds have been around for a long time and they have a lot of character, even if they aren't the newest or most polished buildings in town. We use our space to manage everything from checking inventory to shipping out orders to various places. It’s often a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment comes in, and we have to move boxes around just to make room to walk. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of staff members. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is handled properly and that nothing gets lost in the shuffle of a busy week. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses like ours, so there’s always someone to chat with or share a cup of tea in the afternoon. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front door; if you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on something or on the phone. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things, but we prefer it that way because it works. We like knowing exactly what’s going on with every part of the business. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a truck, but we just work around it. That’s life in Phase-II. We’ve been here for a bit now.
