People usually ask us what traceability actually means when they walk into our office here at South Avenue. Honestly, it’s just about knowing where things come from and where they’re going. We spend most of our days looking at systems and making sure everything is logged properly. It isn't the flashiest job in the world, but it keeps things moving. We’re tucked away in South Ex Part I, at F 22, and it gets pretty hectic around here with the traffic and people coming and going. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get through the paperwork. We started Internation Tracebility System Limited because we saw how often stuff gets lost or mixed up in big supply chains. It’s just us here, a small team trying to keep the records straight. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the afternoon. Most of our work involves checking codes and making sure the digital trails make sense. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll see our sign. It’s a practical setup. We just focus on the task at hand, which is usually making sure our clients know exactly where their products are at any given minute. It’s decent work and we’ve gotten to know the other folks around this part of South Ex pretty well over the years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep it organized.
