Indian Spinal Injury Centre

We are located in Sector C, Vasant Kunj, right opposite Vasant Valley School. The campus is quite large and there is a lot going on. You’ll see many people in wheelchairs moving around the grounds. It’s a specialized place, so the vibe is different than a general hospital. We focus on spine issues and rehabilitation. The hallways are wide for a reason. There’s a lot of equipment for therapy and exercise. It’s not just about surgery here; it’s about getting people back to their lives. The staff works hard, and it can be emotionally taxing sometimes. We see patients from all over the country, not just Delhi. The canteen gets busy around noon. You’ll see family members sitting on the benches outside. Being near the school means there’s a lot of traffic during drop-off and pick-up times. We just work around it. The rooms are basic but functional. We aren't a luxury hotel, we are a medical facility. The doctors are busy but they try to explain things clearly. We have a lot of history in this building. Every day is a mix of challenges and small victories for the patients. We don't have a script for how we talk to people. We just try to be helpful. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep it personal for everyone who stays here for treatment. It's a busy, functional place where serious work happens every day.
