Hindusthan Vidyut Products Limited is located in the Kanchenjunga building. We are way up on the 7th floor. The address is 18, Barakhamba Road, which is a pretty well-known spot if you spend any time in the city. It’s an older building but it has a lot of character. Working on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy with our electrical products to look out the window much. Barakhamba Road is always bustling with people and cars, so it’s a very active place to be. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Our office isn’t one of those new, sleek spaces; it feels more established and lived-in. We deal with various power and electrical products throughout the day. People come to the 7th floor to talk business or check on orders. It’s a professional enough environment but we don't go in for all the corporate fluff. We just focus on the Vidyut products and managing the company from this central location. Being at number 18 makes it easy for visitors to find us, even if the elevators in Kanchenjunga sometimes take a minute. We like the central location because it’s close to everything we need. It’s just our daily base of operations where we keep the business moving forward one day at a time.
