If you look for Sh. Bhagwat Villa at number 189 in Hari Nagar Ashram, you’ll find us in the basement. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, but it works well for Saby Impex. Being in Ashram means we are right near one of the busiest intersections in the city. You can always hear the traffic from the flyover, but down in the basement, it’s a bit muffled and cool. The office is pretty basic. We have some metal racks for our records and a few sturdy desks that have been with us since we started. There isn't much natural light, so we rely on overhead tubes and a few desk lamps. It gives the place a focused, quiet feel. We deal with impex matters all day, which involves a lot of coordinating and making sure the numbers match up. We are a small group, so everyone knows what’s going on with every project. We don't have a fancy coffee machine; we just make tea on a small electric stove in the corner. Sometimes the basement gets a little damp when it rains heavily, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. We aren't looking to move to a fancy high-rise. This place is affordable and it’s right where we need to be to stay connected to the rest of Delhi. It’s just a normal, hardworking office where we get things done without any drama.
