Halal International Fresh Chicken & Mutton Shop

We are located in the Vasant Kunj DDA Market over in Sector B 16. The name on the sign is Halal International Fresh Chicken & Mutton Shop. It’s a small place but we keep it busy. Most of our customers are folks living nearby in the apartments who come in for their weekly groceries. We spend a lot of time preparing the chicken and mutton so it’s ready when people walk in. It gets really packed on Sundays, so we have to work twice as fast then. The market itself is a nice little hub for the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that we recognize the kids growing up. It’s not a corporate chain or anything like that. Just us in our aprons, making sure the cuts are what people want. We keep the place as tidy as a butcher shop can be. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the delivery doesn't show up on time, which is frustrating, but we manage. The lights in the market can be a bit dim in the evenings, but we stay open until the dinner rush is over. It’s a lot of repetitive work, cutting and weighing and wrapping, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a reliable shop where you can get your meat for the week without any fuss or complicated ordering processes.
