Being in Rohini Sector 9 is pretty convenient for me. I’m over at the Star Apartments, specifically number 183. Delhi is always moving fast, and this area is no different. You’ve got the metro nearby and plenty of shops, so there’s always noise coming from the street. My space here is where I get everything sorted out. I didn't want to go and rent a big office in a commercial building because this works just fine for what I need. It’s a bit crowded with books and files, but I know where every single thing is. Sometimes the lift in the apartment acts up, so I end up taking the stairs, which is fine I guess. I’ve lived in Delhi 110085 for a while now and I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. I don't have a big staff or a fancy website to show off. It’s mostly just me taking calls and figuring out schedules. People often ask why I don't move to a bigger place, but I like the familiarity of Sector 9. It’s easy for people to find me once they get into the complex. I’m not trying to build some giant empire or anything. I just want to do my work properly and have enough time to grab a tea at the corner stall. It’s a practical way to live and work without all the extra stress of being corporate.
