The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We handle a variety of export tasks from here. Most of the time we are busy with the details of shipping and customs. It’s a lot of reading through forms and making sure numbers match up correctly. We have a small team and we’ve worked together for years. Asaf Ali Road is always full of energy, which keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the parking is a nightmare, so we usually take the bus or walk from the nearest stop. Inside the office, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the printers running. We deal with clients from different places, so the clock is always running on someone else's time zone. We don't do much marketing or fancy stuff. We just focus on the orders we have. It’s a straightforward business. We make sure the goods get from the suppliers to the ports without too much trouble. Every day brings a different set of challenges but we just take them as they come. It’s a solid way to make a living and we know the area well. We like the local shops and usually grab lunch nearby when we have a minute.
