You can find Global Education at T 192 in the Shukkar Bazaar area of Uttam Nagar. We are tucked away near Gopal Diary, which is the landmark most people use to find us. Uttam Nagar is famous for its narrow streets and being very crowded, so it’s a bit of a squeeze getting here sometimes, especially on market days. Our place is simple and fits right into the local surroundings. We have a few rooms where we sit with the students and go through their school work. It’s not a large place by any means. We have some benches that have seen a lot of use over the years and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold the posters and charts just fine. The noise from the bazaar outside is always there—people shouting, bells ringing, the usual Delhi sounds. We just get used to it. The teaching is done in a very basic way, just pen and paper and a lot of talking. We see the same faces every day, kids from the nearby blocks who need a hand with their exams. It’s a humble spot, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. It is just where we work and where the neighborhood kids come to study. Sometimes we have to share a few chairs when it gets busy, but we make sure everyone gets their turn.
