Garg A. Associates

Garg A. Associates is based out of New Delhi. It is a big, busy city and we are right in the thick of it all. Every day feels a bit different depending on how the traffic is moving on the main roads. Some mornings it takes quite a long time to get through the intersections, but once you are inside the office, things settle down into a regular pattern. We do not have a very large space here, but it is enough for the few of us who come in to work. The sunlight comes in through the main window in the afternoon and makes the whole room quite bright for a few hours. We keep all the files stacked up on these old wooden cabinets along the back wall. There is not much to the decor, just the basic things you need to sit down and get through the day's tasks. We don't really go in for fancy gadgets or modern designs. The chairs are comfortable enough for a full day of sitting at the desks. Most of our time is spent looking at documents and making sure everything is in the right order. It can be a bit slow some days, but we like the rhythm of the work. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. When the sun starts to go down, we lock everything up and join the rest of the crowd heading back to the metro or the buses. It is a very standard New Delhi work life for us.
