Fruit Hub is based in Meera Bagh, Paschim Vihar, specifically at A-119 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is a huge help since we’re constantly moving heavy crates of fruit in and out. The air in our workspace usually smells like whatever is in season, which is one of the better parts of the job. We start our days very early, often while most people are still sleeping, to get the freshest stock from the wholesale markets. Then it’s a lot of sorting, grading, and packing. It’s not a complicated business, but it requires a lot of attention to detail. You have to be able to tell just by looking if a piece of fruit is going to go bad soon. We aren't a big corporate chain with a fancy logo; we’re just a local business in West Delhi. Our team is small, and we all know each other well. Sometimes the shop gets crowded with crates, and it's hard to find a place to sit, but that usually means business is good. We focus on the practical side of things—keeping the fruit cool and getting it to the customers before it loses its crunch. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but we’re used to it by now. We’re just glad to be part of the Meera Bagh community.
