Our little setup is at B 8/23 in Shahbad Dairy. It is a one-person company, though friends help out now and then when things get busy. New Delhi can be a tough place to start something, but I’ve been here at this spot for a while now. The name Floatyourboat came from the idea of just doing what works for people. I do design and branding stuff. It’s mostly me at a desk for long hours. Shahbad Dairy is a lively place, lots of noise and activity outside the window. Sometimes it's hard to focus, but the energy also keeps me going. I don't have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It’s just a room where the work happens. I handle everything myself, from answering the phone to finishing the designs. It gets tiring, but I prefer it this way because I know exactly what is going on with every single job. I’ve lived in Delhi most of my life, so I’m used to the pace here. If you’re looking for the address, it’s 110042. People in the neighborhood know me. I’m not looking to become a giant corporation. I just want to keep doing my work and making sure the people who come to me are satisfied with what they get. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it fits me just fine. I just keep my head down and work.
