Creons Advertising Pvt Ltd is based at D-20 in the Jangpura Extension area of New Delhi. It’s a relatively quiet part of the city, which is nice for when we need to think. The office is actually an old residential house that we’ve repurposed. It has a bit of a quirky feel to it. There are sketches and half-finished designs pinned up everywhere, and the shelves are cluttered with old magazines and books. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a conference room with a glass table. We mostly just sit around in the main room and talk through our ideas. The kitchen has been turned into a place where we keep our printers and some extra paper. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the whole team is in, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time arguing over colors and layouts. Jangpura has a lot of trees, so it’s pleasant to take a walk when we get stuck on a project. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group trying to make things look good. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have big meetings about where we are going. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job for the people who hire us. Sometimes we stay late and order food from the local market. It’s a bit messy and imperfect, but it’s our creative space.
