You can find us at E-36/301 in Jawahar Park, right off Vikas Marg in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a crowded part of town, but that means everything we need is close by. We’ve been operating out of this small office for a good while. It’s a bit of a climb up to the third floor, but the view of the street below is always interesting. We focus on importing and exporting different types of items. It involves a lot of waiting for emails and checking on shipping containers that seem to take forever to arrive. We don’t have a big corporate setup with managers and assistants. It’s more of a hands-on operation where everyone does a bit of everything. One minute I’m talking to a supplier and the next I’m trying to fix the printer. We’ve had some tough times when the rules changed suddenly, but we always manage to figure a way through. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The office is usually a bit messy with catalogs and samples, but we know exactly where everything is. We don’t bother with fancy slogans. We just try to be helpful to the people who come to us. It’s a local business through and through, and we’re happy to be part of the community here in Jawahar Park. Most of our day is spent making sure the numbers add up and the goods move.
