Running Emerson Network Power out of Uttam Nagar means there is never a dull moment. We are over at C-105, A, in the Rama Park area. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We’ve got some old metal cabinets, a few fans to keep the air moving, and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days answering phones and managing whatever comes through the door. The noise from the street is just background music to us now. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules about how to talk or what to wear. We just focus on getting the work done so our customers don't have to wait. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when the weather is bad or the traffic is backed up all the way to the metro station. But we show up every day and do our best with what we have. It’s a practical way of working. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi; we just want to be reliable for the people who depend on us here in Rama Park. It’s a hard-working atmosphere, and that’s exactly how we like it. We usually close up once the main tasks are finished for the day.
