Our office is located at 4/20 in Vibhav Khand, which is part of Gomti Nagar in Lucknow. If you know the area, it is a pretty well-known spot with plenty of houses and small businesses nearby. We have a decent space here on the ground floor. It is mostly filled with desks and a few cabinets for all the paperwork we have to keep track of. Lucknow gets really hot in the summer, so we spent a good amount of money on the air conditioning so we don't melt while we work. Most of our day is spent on the computers, working on the software side of education. It is quiet for the most part, except when we are all arguing about where to order lunch from. Vibhav Khand is a nice place to be, and we have been here long enough that the local chai wallah knows exactly how we like our tea. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We are just a small group of people in U.P. trying to build something useful. We don't have big corporate meetings; we just talk across the desks when something needs to be done. It is a practical way to run a business and it keeps our heads clear. The commute is not too bad if we leave early enough to beat the traffic.
