Audio Visual Equipments

Audio Visual Equipments is based over at Lodhi Road, specifically in B K Dutt Colony at K-40. It’s an interesting neighborhood with a lot of history, but our place is very much about the here and now. We have a lot of gear packed into this space. There are rolls of black cables everywhere you look, and stacks of speakers piled up in the corners. It’s not the most organized looking shop, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time testing projectors or checking audio mixers to make sure they aren't buzzing. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the flight cases and tripod stands. We don’t have a fancy front desk. Usually, you’ll find us hunched over a piece of equipment with a screwdriver or a multimeter. The light in the shop is a bit dim because we have so many screens and monitors set up for testing. It’s a hands-on kind of place. People call us when they have a show or a meeting coming up and they need stuff that actually works. We don’t do a lot of talking about high-end technology; we just make sure the plugs fit and the sound comes out clear. Sometimes the colony is quiet, and other times it’s bustling, but we just stay busy with our electronics. It’s a bit dusty and crowded, but that’s just the nature of dealing with AV gear. We just take things as they come.
