Finding our office at C-1 Shopping Center in Vasant Vihar is pretty easy once you spot the Golden Dragon restaurant nearby. The shopping center is an older building and it has that comfortable, lived-in feel to it. Import and export work is what we handle from this small space. Fancy slogans or a massive glass lobby aren't part of the setup. It is mostly just us sitting at our desks surrounded by stacks of shipping documents and folders that probably need better organizing. Afternoon light gets a bit dim when the sun moves behind the taller buildings, but we are used to it. Vasant Vihar has changed over the years, yet this corner feels much the same as it always did. Phones ring off the hook some days with people asking about their containers, while other days stay quiet enough to hear the birds outside. Advertising isn't something we spend much time on. Long-term partners make up most of our business and they know how we operate. Paperwork is the main focus, making sure things get where they need to go without getting stuck. Practical business doesn't need a big reception area or a coffee machine that does anything fancy. Making a pot of tea and getting through the day’s tasks one by one is how we do things here.
