Design & Inovation Academy

Design & Inovation Academy is based in New Delhi Puri. We are located at C2A/259B. The spelling of innovation in our registered name has only one 'n' in the middle, which is just how it was recorded when we started. We are a small place where people come to learn and work on different design ideas. The area around here is a typical Delhi neighborhood with a mix of houses and shops. It is not a huge campus or anything like that. We have a few rooms set up for classes and studio work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. We do not have a big marketing budget, so we mostly rely on people finding us by word of mouth. The chairs are mismatched and the walls have some sketches and notes pinned up everywhere. It is a workspace first and foremost. We spend our days talking about projects and trying to figure out how to make things look better on paper or on screen. It is not always perfect. Sometimes the internet is slow or we run out of supplies. But we keep going because we like the process. The neighbors are used to seeing students and designers coming in and out at all hours. It is a simple setup for people who actually want to do the work.
