Jas Impex Inc.

Jas Impex Inc. is located at Plot No. 17 on the Ground Floor in the Dabri Industrial Area. It’s a pretty busy spot, with lots of trucks coming in and out of the lane all day. The ground floor location is helpful because we don’t have to carry things up and down any stairs. The floor is concrete and it gets a bit dusty because of all the nearby workshops, but we sweep it out every morning. It’s a large room with a few partitions to separate the desks from the storage area. You can hear the sounds of machinery from the neighboring plots, but you get used to it after a while. We have a couple of big overhead fans that keep the air moving, though it still gets pretty hot in June. There’s no fancy lobby here, just a heavy metal door that we roll up when we get in. We keep a stash of tea and biscuits in a drawer for when we take our breaks. Most of the people working here have been with us for a while, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We don't have any shiny brochures or big advertisements. We just focus on what’s in front of us at Plot 17 and try to get it finished before the sun goes down. That's just our day.
