India Trading Company is up at No. 1004 Nirmal Tower Barakhamba Road Connaught Place. Being in the middle of Connaught Place means it’s always a bit of a rush to get to the office. The elevators in Nirmal Tower can be slow during the morning rush, so we usually end up chatting with the neighbors while we wait. Our office at 1004 isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. There are stacks of files everywhere and the phones are usually busy. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s a good location even if the traffic on Barakhamba Road is a headache most afternoons. Inside, it’s just a normal workplace. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts. We just have our desks where we sit and focus. Sometimes we look out at the city from the window, but mostly we are looking at our screens or paperwork. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us working together to get the tasks finished. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby shop or brought from home. It can get a bit loud with all the activity in the building, but we’re used to it. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for us here in the heart of Delhi. We stay busy and keep things moving.
