Operating out of Chuna Mandi in Paharganj is something else for Vardhman Tape & Packaging Pvt. Ltd. We are located at No. 2074, Gali No. 5. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how tight the streets are and how much is going on at every hour. Our shop is right in the middle of that daily squeeze. We deal with big rolls of tape and all sorts of packing stuff. The space is filled almost up to the ceiling with stock, so it’s a bit of a maze inside. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading heavy items in the narrow lane. It can be a real headache when the crowds are thick, but that is just part of the job. It is never a quiet place to work, but the energy around Chuna Mandi keeps us moving. Most of our regular customers are other small businesses around here who need their supplies in a hurry. We don’t have some big sales team; people just know we are here in Gali No. 5. Sometimes it’s hard to even find a place to park a scooter outside, but that’s life in Delhi. We start early when the market is just waking up and we finish whenever the day’s orders are cleared. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of the inventory, but we do it every day without making a big fuss about it.
