Sharp- N India Papers

Our office is at L-3 in Hauz Khas Enclave. Sharp- N India Papers is a place where we deal with all kinds of paper products every single day. The Enclave is a bit quieter than the main markets nearby, which we actually prefer because it lets us focus on the work. Inside the building at L-3, you will find stacks of paper that sometimes reach all the way to the ceiling. It has a very specific smell that you only find in places like this. We spend a lot of time counting sheets and making sure the edges are cut straight. It is a lot of repetitive work but there is something nice about the rhythm of it. We are a small team and we don't really have a hierarchy or any fancy titles. Everyone just does what needs to be done, whether that is answering the phone or hauling a heavy stack of cardstock to the back. We have a small window that looks out onto the street and we watch the neighborhood wake up while we have our morning coffee. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the paper is handled correctly and that our customers get what they asked for without any fuss. Hauz Khas is a nice part of town and we have been lucky to be here for as long as we have.
