We run the business from this house, so it has a very domestic feel to it. There aren’t any corporate lobbies or elevators. We just have a couple of rooms set aside for the business stuff. It’s where we keep the computer and all the ledgers. We handle various items coming and going. Mandi Pahari is a grounded neighborhood where people know their neighbors. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary complications. Most of our work involves checking the stock and talking to transport guys. It is hard work and sometimes our hands get dirty, but that’s fine. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just tell people what we have and when it will arrive. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We’ve stayed at this address for quite a while now because it works for us. We don’t need a big flashy office to do what we do. It’s just us, the house, and the work that needs to be finished before the sun goes down. It is a decent way to make a living and we are okay with that.
