We are located at No. 920/4-5 on the first floor of Mela Ram House. Chawri Bazar is a very crowded place and our office is right in the middle of all that chaos. Pulak Tradex Pvt. Ltd. has been here for years. If you know Chawri Bazar you know how it is with narrow lanes and lots of carts and people everywhere. Our office is a bit of a climb up the stairs but once you are inside it is a bit calmer than the street. We deal with trading and the desks are usually covered in ledger books and samples of what we are selling. We do not have any of that modern minimalist furniture. It is just heavy wooden desks and old fans that creak a bit. We spend our days shouting over the noise of the market to talk on the phone or to customers who walk in. It is a traditional way of doing business. We know our neighbors and we have been buying our tea from the same guy for a decade. We do not have a philosophy or anything like that. We just buy and sell and try to make sure everyone is satisfied with the deals we make. It is a lot of manual work and checking things by hand. Chawri Bazar has its own rhythm and we are just a part of it. The building itself is old but it is sturdy enough for us.
