Chanu Creations

Chanu Creations is located at No. 111/9 in Kishan Garh. It's part of the Vasant Kunj area, but Kishan Garh has its own feel. It’s a bit tighter and more lived-in than the main blocks. We spend our days tucked away here working on different pieces. It’s not a huge place, but it works for what we do. There’s always piles of fabric or patterns lying around on the tables. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or work on things that don't need the lights. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses and families living above their shops. It gets quite lively in the afternoons. We try to keep a steady pace, though some days are definitely more frantic than others when a deadline is coming up. My desk is usually covered in scraps and thread. We don't really go in for big signs or advertisements. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by just walking past in the neighborhood. We’ve been at this address for a while now and we know the tea stall guy around the corner pretty well. It's a simple setup. We come in, do the work, and head home. Vasant Kunj is right there, so it's convenient for deliveries and such. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the needles and machines. It’s good work. We like the local vibe of Kishan Garh.
