Rajeev Arora

The office where Rajeev Arora works is tucked into Room No-7 on the first floor of the Rajinder Singh Tokash building at 254/Cb.P in Munirka. It is a bit of a walk through the narrow lanes of New Delhi to get here but the area is always full of life and activity. The room itself is quite small and is mostly filled with stacks of papers, old files, and a couple of desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days here dealing with various documents and trying to keep everything in some kind of order even though it feels like the paper never stops coming. You can hear the sounds of the street and the neighbors from the window which stays open to let some air in. It is a very simple workplace without any of the bells and whistles you might find in a modern office tower. Most people who come here are looking for Rajeev to help them with something specific and they usually end up sitting on the plastic chairs we have near the door. Munirka is a crowded place so it always feels a bit tight but we have grown used to the space. We just do our work, drink some chai, and try to make sure that nothing important gets lost in the piles of folders. It is just a small local operation where things are done the old-fashioned way.
