Central Bureau Of Investigation

Our office is on the second floor of building number 78 in Ashoka Enclave -I. We are tucked away in Sector-34, right behind Kanishka Tower. It’s an easy enough spot to find if you know the landmark. Even though the name Central Bureau Of Investigation sounds very official, the office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got the usual desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of folders. The air conditioner in the back room makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it works. Faridabad is where we’ve set up, and being in this part of Haryana keeps us close to the main roads. We spend our time going through documents and making sure things are in order. It’s not like the movies; there’s a lot of sitting and reading. The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep, so we usually take our time. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We know the neighbors in the other offices on this floor. Sometimes we share tea or talk about the weather. It’s a quiet place to get through the daily tasks. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the address on the door. It suits the kind of work we do here every day. We don't have much to say about it, we just come in and do the job.
