Kamal Pharmacy Ayurvedic Pvt. Ltd. has its home at No. 1498 in Bhagirath Palace. This is one of the biggest wholesale markets for medicine in the country, and it is located right in the Chandni Chowk area. Our shop is always busy because there are people coming from all over to buy Ayurvedic medicines, herbs, and oils. The building we are in is quite old and the corridors are narrow and filled with stacks of boxes. We have been here for a long time, and we have seen the market grow and get more crowded every single year. Inside the pharmacy, it smells like dried roots and herbs, which is a lot different from the chemical smell of a regular chemist shop. We keep a massive variety of traditional products on our shelves, and sometimes it looks a bit messy because we are constantly moving things around to find what a customer needs. It is a very fast-paced environment and you have to be quick on your feet. We don't have a lot of space for sitting down, so most of the day is spent standing and talking to buyers over the counter. The electricity can be a bit temperamental in these old buildings, and the noise from the street outside is always loud. It is a real, hardworking place where we stay true to traditional medicine. We are just a bunch of people who know our herbs well.
