Maxime Impex

Maxime Impex is located at 206 Express Tower, which sits right behind the old Akash Cinema in Azadpur. It is a busy area because of the big fruit and vegetable market nearby, so there are always trucks and carts moving around. The building itself is an older one and the hallways can be a bit dark. Our office is on the second floor. Inside, it is mostly just desks covered in folders and a few computers that have seen better days. We do a lot of coordination for imports and exports from here. It is noisy because of the cinema and the market, but we have gotten used to the background hum. Sometimes we go out to the market to get some fresh fruit during the break. The work is mostly just managing schedules and making sure the containers are where they are supposed to be. We do not have any fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a blessing in the Delhi summer. We have a lot of files from previous years tucked into the cabinets. It is just us doing our thing every day, answering calls and filling out forms. It is not a glamorous life, but it is steady. We close up around six or seven, depending on how much work is left on the desk.
