Manufacturers` Assn For Information Technology

Our association is based in Phd House on August Kranti Marg, right on the 4th floor. We’re located in the Siri Institutional Area, which is a part of New Delhi where a lot of different organizations have their offices. It’s a nice enough area, though the traffic on August Kranti Marg can be a nightmare during the evening rush hour. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have rows of filing cabinets, plenty of desks, and a small area where we keep the coffee machine. Since we deal with manufacturers in the IT sector, there’s always a lot of paperwork to go through and plenty of emails to answer. It’s a lot of coordination between different companies and government offices. We spend a lot of time in meetings, sitting around a table trying to sort out industry issues. The 4th floor has a decent view of the trees outside, which is nice when you've been looking at a screen all day. We have a small staff of people who have been here for years. We aren't a big, flashy corporate office with a lobby full of awards. We’re just a group of people trying to keep the wheels of the association turning. Most days are pretty routine, involving a lot of typing, phone calls, and the occasional visitor stopping by for a discussion. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy.
