Ashutosh Handicrafts

If you walk into the Main Market in Ashok Nagar and find Gali No.21, you’ll see us at E-667 on the ground floor. Ashutosh Handicrafts is where we spend most of our waking hours these days. It is packed almost to the ceiling with all sorts of handcrafted items we've collected or made. We try to keep it somewhat organized, but when a new shipment arrives or we are finishing a big batch of orders, things get a little chaotic inside. The ground floor location is good for us because we don't have to carry heavy boxes up any stairs, which our backs appreciate. The market outside is always noisy with shoppers and vendors calling out to each other, which is just part of the daily atmosphere here in Ashok Nagar. We’ve been doing this for a long time, working with our hands and making sure each piece looks okay before it goes out to a customer. Sometimes we run out of storage space and have to stack things in the small hallway for a bit until they get picked up. It’s a small operation, really just a couple of us who know the trade well. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website to show off. People usually just wander in from the market or hear about us from their friends or family. We just focus on the work itself and hope it’s good enough for people. It’s a lot of long hours, but seeing the finished items makes it feel worth it.
