Suntreat Herbal Solution is based in Ashok Nagar. It’s a lively neighborhood and we’re glad to be part of it. We work with various herbal remedies and solutions. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. Every corner is filled with something. I spend a lot of time sorting through the different roots and leaves we get. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather changes and people start looking for something for their health. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our physical shop. People mostly find out about us by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. It’s a very local way of doing things. I like the routine of opening the shutters in the morning and sweeping the front. The shelves are made of wood and we’ve had them since the beginning. Sometimes the labels are handwritten if we’re in a hurry. It’s not a polished place, but we know where everything is. Ashok Nagar has been home to this business for a long time. We just keep things moving, one day at a time. It’s about being there for the people who need what we have. We don't make a big fuss about it. The street can be noisy with scooters but inside it smells like tea and dried plants. We stay here until the evening when most people are heading home. It stays pretty warm in the afternoons too.
