Arvind Prasad

I’m Arvind Prasad and I’m based in Quarter Number 5, Sector 4, over in R.K. Puram, New Delhi. Living and working in a government colony like this has its own set of rules and a specific kind of feel. The buildings all look the same, so you really have to know which block you are looking for. I’ve been in this spot for quite a while. It’s a central location, which makes things a bit easier when I have to go out, but mostly I am just here. The room I work in is small and filled with books and papers. New Delhi is always fast and crowded, but inside Sector 4 it is actually a bit quieter than you would think. I don't have any employees or anything. I handle the work as it comes in, one thing at a time. It isn't a big business, just me doing what I know how to do. I don't go for anything fancy. I just use a regular table and a chair that has seen better days. Sometimes the monkeys outside get a bit rowdy, but you get used to that living in this part of the city. I keep my own hours and try to stay on top of things. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day and I don't ask for much more. There is enough to do around here and I just focus on getting the tasks finished.
