Our office is tucked away in Gali No 04 in Govindpuri. It’s on the ground floor of building 336, which makes it easy to find once you get into the lane. Govindpuri is one of those places that never really sleeps, there is always someone walking by or a scooter zooming through the narrow streets. We share the area with all sorts of small shops and homes. It’s a bit crowded, but that’s just how Kalkaji is. Inside our space, it’s mostly just desks and files. We aren't into the whole modern glass office look. It’s more of a practical place where we can sit down and do our work without distractions. The front door stays open most of the time during the day to let some air in, though the dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes. We have a small corner for making tea, which is where most of us end up when we need a five-minute break. People often pop their heads in to ask for directions or just to say hello. It’s a humble setup, but it works for what we do. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the electricity is running and the internet works, we are happy. It’s just a group of us working hard in a busy part of South Delhi.
