If you come by Chittaranjan Park in Alaknanda, you can find Andees Impex Pvt. Ltd. We are on the second floor at A-9. It’s a quiet enough spot, though the stairs can be a bit much if you’re carrying heavy boxes. Our office is a bit of a mix of old furniture and newer tech. We don't really care about the decor as long as the computers work and the internet is stable. We deal with impex stuff, which mostly means we spend our time looking at spreadsheets and talking to shipping agents. It’s not the kind of job you see in movies. It’s mostly just making sure the paperwork is correct so things don’t get held up at the port. We have a few people working here who have lived in Alaknanda their whole lives. We like the neighborhood. It feels like a real community. We don't do much in terms of promotion. Most of our clients have been with us for years, and they know where to find us. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up every morning, make some tea, and start going through the emails. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when there’s a delay somewhere, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a small, steady business and we like keeping it that way.
