Adhyan Institute

We are set up in the Basti Vikas Kendra at Sudhar Camp in Kalkaji. It is quite close to the MCD office, which is how most people find us if they are not from the immediate area. It is a busy spot, always people moving around the camp and kids playing nearby. The building itself is pretty basic, just a standard community center setup where we have our rooms. Inside it is mostly just tables, chairs, and books piled up on the shelves. It can get a bit noisy when there is something going on outside in the camp, but we have gotten used to the sounds of the neighborhood over time. We have been running things here for a while now, mostly helping out with local education needs. It is not a shiny new institute with air conditioning in every corner or fancy carpets. We just keep the fans running and try to focus on the classes. In the afternoons it gets really crowded because that is when most of the students show up after their regular school is over. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living and working in this part of Delhi. We just open the windows and keep going until it gets dark. It is a local place for local people, and that is just how it has always been. We do not have a big sign, just enough so people know where to go.
