Our place, Kriyas Unipro, is located at 23/1152 in Aravinda Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than if we were in a high-rise somewhere. The building itself is nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside we stay quite busy. We’ve set up our workspace to be as functional as possible. There are stacks of paper here and there, and the whiteboards are usually covered in scribbles that only we can understand. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing. There are no "employee of the month" plaques or scripted greetings. We just show up, talk about what needs to happen that day, and get started. Aravinda Nagar is a nice spot because it’s easy for people to get to, but it isn't so busy that we can't hear ourselves think. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that people don't usually see but that makes businesses run smoothly. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble, and other days we finish up early if the weather is nice. It’s just a group of us trying to do a decent job without any of the extra fluff. We like the independence of running our own show here and being able to talk to people like regular humans instead of using a bunch of buzzwords. No one here is trying to impress anyone; we just work.
