Diar Mahinagar Primary School

We are located at number 21 in Nethaji Nagar. It is a small primary school, so things are usually pretty loud with all the kids around. Nellore can be quite warm, so the kids are always asking to go out for water. Our building is a simple one. We have a few rooms and a small area where the children can play during their breaks. Most of the families who send their children here live right in the neighborhood. You see them walking down the street every morning. We don’t have any big flashy signs or modern tech. It’s mostly just chalkboards and wooden benches. The floors are a bit worn down from years of walking, but they are kept clean enough. Working here means you have to be okay with a bit of chaos. There is always a shoelace to tie or a lost pencil to find. We keep a stack of extra notebooks in the office just in case. The gate needs a bit of oil because it squeaks when you open it. It’s a very local kind of place. Everyone knows the teachers and we know most of the parents by sight. We just go about our business of teaching the basics like reading and counting. It isn't a complicated life here. We open up early, finish in the afternoon, and do it all again the next day.
