J. S. R. Agro Processing Pvt. Ltd.

J. S. R. Agro Processing Pvt. Ltd. is situated in Janda Dibba Buchi Reddy Palem. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where the work happens. We have the processing units set up in a large building that has been here for years. You can usually hear the hum of the machines from the road before you even pull into the gates. We work with various agricultural products, mostly whatever the local farmers are bringing in during the season. The air inside smells like grain and earth, which is something you get used to after the first week. We have a small crew that looks after the machinery and makes sure everything is feeding through correctly. Sometimes a belt breaks or a motor gets stubborn, and then we have to stop everything to fix it. It’s just part of the life here. The office part is just a corner of the main floor partitioned off with some plywood. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the weather since that affects everything we do. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Janda Dibba is a quiet spot, and we like being out here away from the main city chaos. We just keep our heads down and process the crops as they come in. There is always a layer of fine dust on everything, but that is just how an agro plant is. We try to keep the scales accurate and the bags moving out the door.
