B J Tea Shoppie

We’ve been here at 3-9-8 in Saraswathi Nagar for a good while now. Dargamitta is where we spend most of our days, just making tea and talking to whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular tea shoppie where the kettle is always on. Some people come by every single morning before work, and we know their order without them even saying a word. It gets pretty busy around here, especially when the sun is out and everyone needs a break. We handle the tea, clean the cups, and keep things moving as best we can. The shop is small but it fits what we need. You’ll find us right on the street, usually with a few regulars hanging around the front. Sometimes we run out of snacks early if the crowd is big. We don't really do anything complicated. It’s just about getting the brew right and making sure there’s enough sugar. Living and working in this part of town has its rhythm. You see the same faces, hear the same stories, and you just get on with the day. We’ve had the sign up for years and it’s seen better days, but the tea stays the same. If you are passing through Saraswathi Nagar, you probably know where we are. We just stay focused on the stove and the customers who have been coming here since we first opened the doors.
