Ganesh Ice Factory

Our ice factory is located right on the main Mumbai road in Buchireddy Palem. It’s at plot number 474/12. We spend most of our day around the big freezing units making sure the blocks are coming out right. It gets pretty cold inside, which is a nice break from the heat outside on the road. We’ve been here for a good while, serving the local area. There’s always trucks coming and going, picking up ice for the markets or for storage. The floor is usually a bit wet because of the melting ice, so we all wear boots. It’s noisy with the compressors running all the time, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small desk where we keep the logs. Most people around here know where Ganesh Ice Factory is. If you're driving down the main road, you can't really miss us. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, we'd rather be out on the floor making sure the machines are running. It’s straightforward work. We make ice, people buy it, and that’s about it. No big mystery to it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s just part of running a factory in this area. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day. We are here whenever someone needs a block of ice.
