Aaji Baba

Our address is a bit of a mouthful if you are trying to write it on an envelope. We are in Sriramnager Colony, which is part of Akkampeta in the Manubolu area of Nellore. The place is linked to P. N. Meera Shareef and is known locally as Aaji Baba. It is a quiet corner of the district, and life moves a bit slower here than in the big cities. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most of the people who come by are locals who already know where we are. The building is just a standard house-like structure where we do our daily business. There is a lot of dust because of the roads in the colony, so we are always sweeping the front area. We spend our days sitting in the main room, handling whatever comes up. It might be paperwork or just chatting with neighbors who stop by for a minute. It is a very family-oriented atmosphere here. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It is just a part of the community where we’ve been for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside in the shade until it comes back. It is a simple way of living and working in Nellore. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It's just us here, doing what we do every day in the village.
